My brother has actually a LA105 and also his acts the very same way. I have actually an Ariens 17.5HP 6-speed rider through a similar drive belt setup and also it action the same way. After ~ 4 years ns would have though the belt would have broken in and smoothened increase a bit yet no - the is together grabby as ever.I"m surprised there has never to be a lawsuit over this system. Ns was in 3rd gear as soon as at around 3/4 throttle and also my foot slipped off the clutch and the tractor took off did a wheelie and I snapped earlier and around broke mine back. I use my Ariens together a letter getter and also don"t mow through it. I cannot imagine trying come maneuver and trim around objects with the "grab clutch". Prefer you, I shot to minimize the result by throttling down, slowly releasing the clutch and also then throttling up.Quite frankly, I"m surprised the transmission has actually held up as well as it has given all the "snap starts" and wheelies I have actually subjected it to.
